The Alumni Ambassador Program was created in 2011 to allow five students a forum to begin a conversation with up to 300 alumni in the Lower Mainland. This conversation will contribute to building a highly engaged alumni community through the partnering of students – our future alumni – and our graduates, and by connecting them back with their alma mater through intentional and collaborative programs and opportunities.
Throughout the 2011/2012 school year our five ambassadors will be contacting alumni throughout Vancouver to meet for meaningful one-on-one conversations. Through these conversations our students and alumni will exchange experiences and stories about life at UBC and beyond. As well as provide our alumni a channel to reconnect with The University and the greater UBC community.
Our five student Ambassadors have been chosen as leaders amongst their peer groups and faculties. These students come from different interests, backgrounds, and areas of study.
