Holiday Central - Cocktails and CarolsVisit Holiday Central at the Robert H. Lee Alumni Centre

From December 1-23rd, the Robert H. Lee Alumni Centre will become Holiday Central. It all kicks off the morning of December 1st with an open house featuring complimentary coffee or tea and Christmas music by the fire. It continues that afternoon with the 2nd Annual Cocktails and Carols event (RSVP required). Please bring a non-perishable item or cash donation for the AMS Food Bank as admission for the day’s activities. The festivities will continue until December 23rd with a Christmas Tree Competition, with trees decorated by teams made up of members of the campus community.

They’re a UBC tradition, and the perfect treat for this time of year. In fact, at last week’s 100 Dinners event in Lethbridge, Alberta, alumni hosts Cathy J. Meyer, Dipl Ed’97 & Steve Patitsas, PhD’97, served a homemade batch of UBC cinnamon buns to their guests. To us, it seemed like the perfect way to celebrate alumni UBC‘s 100th year! Here’s the UBC cinnamon bun recipe if you want to make your own.
