As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, many students and recent graduates have struggled to build their professional networks within the virtual environment. As networking is a pillar of career success, it is vital that our alumni community continues to build connections and practice networking skills that will serve them both in today’s virtual world and in face-to-face interactions in the future.

The Your Next Step: Connecting with Confidence event will focus on developing networking skillsets through teaching and practice. UBC alumni are invited to connect with students and recent alumni to share their experiences and offer career advice through virtual conversations. Topics will include building your network, navigating change, job searching, and establishing yourself in your early career.

Sharing the insights and experiences you have gained in your career journey can be incredibly valuable to those early in their career who are navigating important personal and professional steps during an already uncertain time.
